Heather qualified with a BSc Honours Degree in Physiotherapy in 2012 from Glasgow Caledonian University. During her studies she also completed a Diploma in Sports Massage. Furthermore, Heather has completed post graduate study in Clinical Rehabilitation Pilates (both mat and studio equipment) with Polestar Pilates, known as the most comprehensive program worldwide. She has recently returned to her hometown of Inverness after 6 years working in Australia where she worked in a boutique Sydney spine and headache treatment clinic. She worked closely with some of Sydney’s top Neurosurgeons, Sports Physicians, Pain Specialists and General Practitioners to prevent surgical intervention and rehabilitate following surgery.

Heather enjoys treating patients with back pain, neck pain, headaches and pelvic dysfunction and believes that providing a holistic approach to treatment is key to a successful recovery. Using manual therapy and tailored exercise based rehabilitation Heather utilises her pilates training to restore function in the body. Heather loves seeing her patients return to activity and achieve their goals!

Heather has recently got the running bug and has worked with strength and conditioning coaches to improve her own physical performance. She understands the demands of weight training and load management. Heather grew up skiing and spent a season working as a massage therapist and chalet host for a luxury holiday company in the French Alps. This experience has given her a keen eye for detail and she prides herself in providing the highest level of customer service.

FUN FACT! - Heather competed in the world’s longest and oldest downhill ski race this year - the Inferno Downhill in Switzerland.
